Hello to all our Head Start friends and families. I hope you have all had a good week. Have you noticed the change in temperature and all the leaves changing colour and falling off the trees. A great time to go walking in the park and go rolling in the leaves :)
Well this week at our Head Start Headquarters we have looked at Hand-eye coordination. This is,the ability of the eyes to control, guide and direct the hands in movements. Hand-eye coordination is important for gross motor skills & games as well as fine motor skills such as handwriting. You can help your child to develop hand-eye coordination by practising fine motor tasks such as building block towers, and through gross motor movements as when playing ball games.
